Particle Board

Particle board is a type of wood product that is made from the byproduct of woodworking. Made by taking sawdust and compressing it with resin adhesives to make sheets of workable material.

This is a great match for:

• Those who prefer the denser version of plywood: Particle board is easy to work with and great on lower-end projects. It can be fancied up with some veneer and a thin laminate. Usually used for flat surfaces and decoration use.
• Those who prefer affordable and economical materials: Particle board is inexpensive and more resistant to shearing, bending, or weight load forces.

Melaminto (Polyester)

Melamine is a thin, single melamine paper bonded to a substrate (usually craft wood or particle board) to create low-pressure laminates. Manufactured under 200-350 kg per square meter of pressure at a temperature of approximately 170°C-190°C. Melamine works best for vertical, low-impact, or low-wear applications. Mostly used for store fixtures, office furniture, shelves, entertainment consoles, and more.

High Pressure Laminates (HPL)

Made from multiple layers of kraft paper are bonded together by melamine and phenolic resins. Manufactured under 1,000 kg per square meter of pressure at a temperature of approximately 140°C. Because of its making process, HPL has excellent durability and is resistant to impact and scratches. It also makes them the first choice and a favorite among architects and interior designers because of their classy and polished look.

Plywood

A wood fabrication made from thin sheets of wood, known as wood plies or wood veneers. The layers are glued together, each layer having its grain positioned at right angles to enhance durability.

Plywood Type

• Fancy Plywood: Fancy plywood is plywood with face veneer coated surface of certain types of wood veneer beautifully patterned (fancy) and used for interiors and furniture.

  Available Thickness: 3mm - 28mm

• Poly Plywood: Poly Plywood coated with Poly Resin on one surface. This plywood type is an engineered wood made from thin sheets of wood, called plies or wood veneers, used for interiors and furniture.

  Available Thickness: 9mm - 18mm

• Film Face Plywood: Plywood coated with a sheet of Phenol Formaldehydefilm (45 / 125 gsm) on either one or both sides. Film Face is a plywood made with a hardwood face and back with optional hardwood or softwood core. Usually used for construction (formwork) and furniture.
